The rest of your adventure is quickly told. Heeding the advice of your high priest, you all followed Ahi down the pit, and through the secret tunnel that you discovered earlier. It led to a hidden treasury wherein you found the funeral barge of Rahotep. The evil one just started to materialize, already having regenerated a lot of damage, and so the battle started anew. But this time it was much easier, even though you all had already used up quite a lot of your available spells. But the same was true for Rahotep, and so this final battle was a test of strength and stamina, rather than one of magical prowess. And even though Rahotep was a terrible opponent in melee, you were four and he was alone, and so, in the end, you smote him, and this most evil man from centuries past at last found his well-deserved end, annihilated forever.
But the dark Lord Set, who Rahotep served so faithfully in his life and in the Duat, was obviously displeased with the turn of events. Shortly after Rahotep fell, a mighty earthquake shook the ground, quickly followed by more shockwaves. It was clear to you that the whole place started falling apart. There was barely time to grab a few of the treasures found within the barge before you had to hurry to get out there or be buried alive. Another teleport spell from Gaderon quickly whisked you away, home to Theben.
After the word spread and divinations and other scryings proved it to be true that this ancient threat to the Triple Kingdom was finally gone, Shemsi Neteru-f, the Arch-Priest of Thoth let his influence work. As was your duty as citizens of Theben and of Khemit, half of all the wealth that you took out of the tomb flowed into the coffers of the Pharaoh. Thereafter, a royal gala took place in the palace, where recounted your story to the Pharaoh and the court. Most pleased by your success, Pharaoh granted all of you noble status after the banquet. Kherim-Shah made a Baron, Sol a Lord, Ahi Seshem Chief Scribe, and the rest of you Shakes. With these titles come a fief, one or more villages, livestock, and everything that these estates produce.
Clerical commune and divination spells concerning the fate of Ivid and Elmo revealed that both are neither dead nor alive, but nothing more could be learned about their whereabouts, so this is a mystery that remains to be solved by you.
But the shadows of Rahotep are long, and there are many out there who served him and his dark lord in secret. And so, several months after you started your new life as nobles of the Realm, first rumours and then news spread that Rahotep’s remaining forces in the land unveiled, calling themselves The Accursed of Rahotep, and started to gather troops in order to overthrow Pharaoh even without their now gone leader.
Once again, Pharaoh calls you together at the court in Theben, ordering you to defend your country and to deal with the threat. Your first order is to deal with the vile forces that have gathered in an old mountain fortress of Set...
But this story will be told by someone else.
