IC: After a few minutes of highest concentration, Eilkhan finally hears a satisfying clicking sound from inside the complicated padlock, and it opens. But not only the lock opens but the huge double doors also open up, seemingly by themselves. Beyond them, you catch a short glimpse of a treasure-laden burial chamber before fiery hieroglyphs appear in the air before you.
It is wrong to disturb the Eternal House of the Set Rahotep. May your own tombs be broken into or never completed. Curse you!
As the hieroglyphs fade, you hear the sound that you were more or less expecting all the time: A low rumbling, as the lids of sarcophagi behind you slide open and the iron mummies start to clamber out of them....
OOC: Your party automatically gains initative in this round because the mummies have to leave their resting places first. Please state your intentions and make all needed die rolls (attacks and damage - even if you're not sure whether you hit or not, unless the roll is very bad of course) for you need not fear a counterattack in this first round. I'll provide a tactical map after this round.
