A D20 book about lone wolf world? I think somewhere I have heard about it but it seemed to lack the flavor of the books according to what I remember... |

It does indeed lack some of that flavour, but as our DM is well into those books (frequelntly trotting them out where they have better maps than the game book) we're not really missing out there. |

Are you aware that most of the old LW stuff is available online and for free already? *Sorry, forgot the exact link.* Especially the Magnamund Companion PDF can be of use if one wants to start a game. |

Well, I have cheated too when I first read the books but believe me most of the time it spoils the fun. It makes what is a single-person RPG to a mostly normal book. OK I still am annoyed when I do something and "Bang! Your life and adventures end here" but I don't cheat anymore. I just consider that I "Save" the game every once a while. I.e If I'm tragically killed becaused I rolled low when the storm broke out, I go to the last place I have "Saved" and replay from there on. I usually make the same choices so the text flies by fast. |
