[Race] Amoboids - Havard - 06-19-2011 Another of the Eight major galactic races in John Snider's Star Empires Campaign were the Amoboids, effectively a race of Amoeba humanoids. ![]() (Image from the Doctor Who series) My general idea is that this is a race of humanoids with some of the abilities of Jelly Ochres.(SRD Link) Yes, a little silly, but could be a fun race in a Blackmoor campaign. Any thoughts on how to handle these ones? ![]() -Havard Re: [Race] Amoboids - Rafael - 06-19-2011 Sooo cute! Like the penguin from NGE! Can I get one for home?! Re: [Race] Amoboids - Havard - 06-20-2011 Too cute? How about this one: ![]() -Havard Re: [Race] Amoboids - DungeonDevil - 06-21-2011 I always like the Dralasites from Star Frontiers. Now that one's just gross! Re: [Race] Amoboids - Havard - 06-21-2011 DungeonDevil Wrote:I always like the Dralasites from Star Frontiers. Excellent! Those appeared in D20Modern/Future as well, right? Which means they will be easy to adapt to 3E. I will have another look and see how they can be adapted to TSR era editions as well. -Havard Re: [Race] Amoboids - DungeonDevil - 06-25-2011 Rafael Wrote:DungeonDevil Wrote:I always like the Dralasites from Star Frontiers. I guess some people just don't like cuddly, squishy snot-monsters from outer space! Re: [Race] Amoboids - Havard - 09-12-2011 Havard Wrote:How about this one: If some members of this race became standed on Blackmoor's world, could there be a City of Amoboids out there somewhere? What would their culture be like? I'm assuming that any technology they may have has been lost over the years so I am thinking more of a traditional fantasy approach. Any ideas? -Havard Re: [Race] Amoboids - Rafael - 09-12-2011 Havard Wrote: |
