Hi all,
Here's hope some you fellow grognards can help me out!
For AGES, I have been looking for an illustration of a knight/paladin - style of figure...
To use as the base for a tattoo!
So, I have used all google-magic I had, tried my own designs, deleted them again, even bought illustration books to find a good picture, but to no avail.
As to the nature of the illustration, I don't mind the source, though I am a particular fan of Edmund Blair-Leighton, Angus McBride and Amano Yoshitaka. If it's a picture some of you have drawn, I'll be delighted to use it as well.
In fact, this so far has been the best I could come up with so far:

On a side note, if you know of particular nice illustration in a D&D book that screams "just have me stitched on your skin", I shall be much obliged.

Be more specific Rafe. You want a full picture of a knight on horseback armed with a sword? or perhaps something more closeup? You know you might try capturing film stills and photgraphs too. The tatoo artist is going to redraw whatever image you give them and a photo is as good a soiurce as any. Actually you could take in several images and let the tatooist make a new drawing based on what you like in each. They usually will make several drawings for you to choose from and if you don't like it, try another studio.

Thanks, my friend! I have since spoken to the tattoo artist, and it seems I'll skip the lack knight for now, in favor of a simpler, and yet again "Record of Lodoss War" related symbol, a lion crest.
Something alike it will be:

Hmmm... You might know it if you know Lodoss War: An element of a picture from the Artbook "Anam", arguably one of my most prized possessions.
