****** Noble Houses of Thonia Noble Houses of the Duchy of Ten Note: In the case of Peshwa na Shepro, I just assumed Shepro to be his family name. I didn't have anything else to work with. Note 2: There are very likely many other Noble families, but these are the most prominent ones. -Havard - Havard - 02-23-2010 Thonian Houses HOUSE MARCOVIC (Thonia) Stronghold: Marban Leader: Duke Taha Marcovic HOUSE TAGUS Stronghold: Bramwald Leader: Baron Bram Tagus HOUSE GENEVA Stronghold: Geneva Leader: Unknown. Although no longer the masters of Glendover, they might still be around. I'm assuming the House of Fant is presumed extinct. House of Geneva (Kuntz) and Walworth (Gygax) might also be included as Thonian Houses? Havard - gsvenson - 02-23-2010 I would include Rob and Gary's houses as being in Thonia. I consider Svenny's house to be the House of Zvenzen (from the FFC spelling). I am not sure what to do with the House of Jenkins. The House of Fant was based in the city of Blackmoor. The survivors of the family are now based in Newgate, led by Lord Minaya Fant (one of Svenny's companions). At least, that is how I view it in my writeup for Newgate. - Havard - 02-23-2010 gsvenson Wrote:I would include Rob and Gary's houses as being in Thonia. Brilliant Greg! I have updated the first post based on your information. My theory on the Jenkins is that they lost power after what happened to the original Sir Jenkins. They are still a noble house, but no longer head of Glendover. Ungulian took over the Barony. How about the Blue Rider. Is "the Heathe" a noble title? I always associated him with Williamsfort, but is that just a coincidence? I distinguish between Major and Minor/Lesser Houses as follows by the way: Major Houses have a Baron or higher title. Minor/Lesser Houses have lower titles such as Lord. If the title Baronette exists it will also be considered Minor. -Havard - Havard - 09-17-2010 Update. I have moved House Tagus into the Thonian Camp. Also, added House Drachenfels as a lesser Blackmoorian House. -Havard - aldarron - 09-18-2010 Robert the Bald had a Barony, and the Sniders each had one IIRC so you might add them. - Rafael - 09-18-2010 BTW, the noble house of the Thonian emperors is labeled "Naelax" in my campaign. ![]() Or would you take "Iyx", the name of the last Thonian emperor, as a name for his noblehouse, rather than for his first name? - Havard - 09-18-2010 Aldarron Wrote:Robert the Bald had a Barony, and the Sniders each had one IIRC so you might add them. Well, the reason why they aren't included at the moment is because I'm keeping Wizards and Church Land separate from standard Nobility. -Havard - aldarron - 09-18-2010 Was Robert the Bald a wizard? I think I just assumed he was a warrior. I was also under the impression that John Sniders character Boozero had a barony (?) and I'm sure was a fighter. Will try to take a quick look in the FFC. |
