WHEN the Game was called Blackmoor before D&D! - Eldrad - 03-28-2022

SO the ancient tales of just some 2D6s and making rules on the fly! How did it work back then? The FKR Discords talks about this subject (or at least it did) and it fascinates many of us. Those who played it like that back then, please elaborate!

I did. I have to say is has been over 50 years since that was going on. After the first adventure into Blackmoor dungeon Dave Arneson was experimenting with the rules to learn what worked and what didn't. This was circa 1971, when this all started. A long time ago even for me.
