[Dungeon #126] The Clockwork Fortress - Yaztromo - 07-13-2021

I recently found A COMMUNITY FOR LAZY DUNGEON MASTERS website and I took the chance for looking up what Blackmoor adventures are mentioned there at the moment: https://www.adventurelookup.com/adventu ... =Blackmoor

Apart from the succession of the four DA adventures, there are two adventures from Dungeon magazine by Wolfgang Baur. One of them, Raiders of the Black Ice, is already reviewed and discussed in this section of the website (set in Greyhawk), but I never heard before the other, by the same author (that I imagine should be set in Greyhawk as well, as it is supposed to be a sequel, but I may be wrong): The Clockwork Fortress https://paizo.com/products/btpy7xtb?Dungeon-Issue-126

Quote:A mechanical man discovers his ancestral fortress has fallen to a lunatic derro, but something worse than mad derro haunts the Clockwork Fortress' gears. A D&D adventure for 8th-level characters.

Did anybody come across this adventure before? Is it interesting? is it a good Blackmoor adventure?

Indeed, there were two adventures in Dungeon by Wolfgang Baur. The second one is a sequel to Raiders of the Black Ice. Its pretty cool and I like that it explores this previously undeveloped part of Greyhawk further. It can also be easily adapted to other versions of Blackmoor IMHO.

You can find some freebies for these adventures linked in my Blackmoor Product List.
