[Blog] New Blackmoor Livestreamed Campaign From Tad Kilgore - Havard - 05-13-2020
Live Streamed Dungeons & Dragons gaming is incredibly popular these days, so it is great seeing a live streamed game set in the first D&D campaign setting, Dave Arneson's Blackmoor.
This campaign is hosted by Tad Kilgore who has a long history with the setting. He was campaign organized for the Blackmoor MMRPG and was the author of the Sons of Hak Sourcebook for the Blackmoor d20 line. The players in this campaign are also people with a history of writing for the Blackmoor MMRPG campaign as well as being long time friends of Tad.
The players include:
Phil Slama, former head of Terror Inc. and MMRPG author. Phil has also released several 5E adventures which are available for free at The Comeback Inn.
Jenn Barth, former MMRPG author
Mathew Tearle, former MMPRG author and member of Terror Inc.
Jimmy, a newcomer to Blackmoor. Which is also awesome!
This campaign uses the D&D 5th Edition Rules and is centered around the Dungeons of Castle Blackmoor and starts out at The Comeback Inn. It is going to be extremely interesting to follow these adventures!
The Campaign is livestreamed in Twitch and is also available on YouTube. You can also follow the campaign on Facebook via Kilgore's Lair page and the Blackmoor Fans Facebook Group.

Re: [Blog] New Blackmoor Livestreamed Campaign From Tad Kilg - Havard - 05-13-2020
What do you guys think of the first episode?
What setting info can we gain from the current videos?
Is there any advice we can give Tad and his players for future videos? Let us support this effort to spread the love for Blackmoor!

The Moon Ward concept sounds interesting.

Tad has released two clips also taken from Episode 1:
Interview with Sister Angela
The Consequence of Posession
Not sure why these two particular scenes were also provided as separate clips?

New Episode coming up today:
Tad Kilgore Wrote:We are streaming today at 3:00 est on https://www.twitch.tv/tadkil This episode, the party continues it's descent into the Dungeons of Castle Blackmoor. Come see us!
I think that is like 9PM CET (where I am) so I might try to find time to listen to at least parts of it live.

Character Roster
DM - (Tad Kilgore, author of Riders of Hak, MMRPG Organizer etc)
Delbert Galen - High Thonian Wizard, War Wizard Specialization. (played by Jimmy)
Jennabink - Gnome Artificer (Played by Jenn Barth - author of Blackmoor Wives Club and Heroes on Ice of the MMRPG series)
Idris Regan - Human Paladin (Played by Philip Slama, worked on various MMRPG modules )
Penny - Docrae Ranger (Played by Mathew Tearle)
Not sure if I got that right?
The group levelled up in episode 3, so I think they are 2nd level now.

Well, that was a fun game. I particularly liked the part at the end where the party encountered a group of rats and were-rats(?) and Idris tried to gain control over them.

New episode today at https://www.twitch.tv/tadkil
If anyone here has a chance to watch it live, I would appreciate a quick summary here afterwards. I will try to catch parts of it, but I might have to leave to consume large amounts of alchohol or something like that. We shall see.
Starts at 3 EST.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I've followed and subscribed on Twitch and YouTube. I'll have to catch up on the episodes thus far. I've been waiting to see a 5E live stream in Blackmoor.

Episode 4 is on right now.
So far we have been introduced to two named Ratlings: Quckfoot and Brighteyes.
Also, there has been an encounter with a new monster called a Flesh Render?
