Blackmoor using Fallout PnP - drnecrotic - 06-30-2018 I know, this sounds completely insane! But, give me a chance here. A game amidst the Great Rain or a ways after could be tons of fun, rife with post-apocalyptic drama. Sure, the system is kinda clunky and holds a rose-peddled place in my Black Isles loving heart, but it could be fun for a one-off. Of course, your Blackmoorians would need some magical abilities. You have Psykers in Fallout plus all the tech stuff, so that's a start. What say you all? Fascinating musing? A potential game? A waste of time? Does it have something to do with the Video Game series? I love the idea of a Blackmoor game taking place amidst the Great Rain of Fire though! PnP was a pet project by some of the Black Isles/Interplay guys. From what I understand, it predates "Exodus d20" (which was supposed to be Fallout tabletop) as well. As I mentioned, if I delved deeper into this, I'd have to homebrew beyond the basic psyker/psionic stuff that's in the setting, as Blackmoor is still D&D and that has magic. I'll probably just slam some other system on top of it, since FO PNP is a percentile system and there are others floating around that operate similarly. I'll certainly look at that campaign outline though. |
