Mishler's Northern Marches Campaign Clearinghouse - JamesMishler - 05-11-2018 Hello all, Here is where I will place links to all the various Northern Marches campaign posts as I make them. First, some basic elements of my Northern Marches. My Northern Marches are based primarily in materials from the First Fantasy Campaign, with select elements from the DA series, a dash of Greyhawk, and a lot of fantasy-historical analogues. Also, I am delving back into the original soup of literary and movie influences. This version of the Northern Marches is not set in Mystara, though certain things inspired by Mystara will make their way into the mix. There may be some elements from the ZGG Blackmoor, as that is still available in legal PDF format, but we shall see. The World The world is divided into land and water, like most such worlds. There are three major continental masses, each effectively a super-continent with several sub-continents. The continent whereupon the Northlands can be found is known as Estolia, spanning the north-eastern hemisphere and dipping into the southeastern hemisphere. In the northwestern hemisphere is the continent known as Westria. And the large, vast continent that fills half the southern hemisphere is known as the Sutherlands. Those familiar with Mystara know that this is a familiar configuration, but these are not the same continents as Skothar, Brun, and Davania... very similar, but distinct.
