T1 Canonical Conversion for Thrommel Subplot? - tmjva - 09-29-2016 It may be apparent to you all I simply transplanted the tried and True Greyhawk T1 module in BlackMoor. (If it matters, Iput it near hex 5129 of the DA1 map for my HackMoor campaign under Campaign Journals & Story Hour.) So instead of rescuing Prince Thrommel from the Greyhawk canon, what if I simply replace the character with Bascom Ungulian from DA1 and voila, a subplot from the T1 module is successfully transplanted into BlackMoor? Aside from the fact hex 5129 being opposite side of Blackmoor from the Egg of Coot in the DA1 original write up, it could at least be an additional plot to lead characters astray from the source of his placement. Thoughts? Re: T1 Canonical Conversion for Thrommel Subplot? - RobJN - 09-29-2016 Perhaps the Egg has sent him that-a-way on some sort of nefarious brain-wash-ified mission, and the PCs just assume he needs rescuing? Re: T1 Canonical Conversion for Thrommel Subplot? - tmjva - 09-30-2016 Only if it happens of course. If they never find him there is nothing to do. (Thanks for the response.) |
