Blackmoor Equipment / Mundane Items - Havard - 01-01-2014

Looking through the D20 Blackmoor book (BMCS), I am thinking that a proper equipment list would have been an improvement. There are lists of weapons and armor, but there are several items mentioned throughout the book that do not come up on a proper list. Also, quite a few new items appear in the adventure section (Ties that Bind). There is a similar situation in the BMPG.

For instance, in the section on clockwork and steam inventions, I was able to find mentions of the following items:

New Clockwork and Steam Items
  • Steam Bore, Dwarven
  • Tools, Inventors
  • Steam Roller, Dwarven
  • Prosthetic Leg, Clockwork
  • Prosthetic Arm, Clockwork
  • Housecat, Clockwork
  • Owl, Clockwork
  • Dog, Clockwork
  • Butler, Clockwork
  • Warrior, Clockwork
  • Springblade, Clockwork
  • Component, Mechanical

Below are also some weapons and armor found in the BMCS and BMPG:

New Weapons
  • Dwarven Bayonet
  • Elven Longblade
  • Sickle Sword
  • Arbir (Peshwah Weapon)
  • Bullova (Peshwah Weapon)
  • Grazer Spear (Peshwah Weapon)
  • Sickle Mace (Peshwah Weapon)
  • Dwarven Slug Bow
  • Metal Slugs, Dwarven
  • Stone Slugs, Dwarven
  • Elven Sword Bow
  • Arrow, Fire (Elven)
  • Arrow, Storm (Elven)
  • Arrow, White (Elven)
  • Arrow, Yew (Elven)

New Armor
  • Softened Spidersilk Armor (Peshwah Item)
  • Stripped Spidersilk Armor (Peshwah Item)
  • Padded Spidersilk Armor (Peshwah Item)
  • Shield, Horse (Peshwah Item)
  • Shield, Spidersilk, Small (Peshwah Item)
  • Shield, Spidersilk, Large (Peshwah Item)
  • Shield, Prophet’s (Peshwah Item)
  • Bone Shirt
  • Fur Shirt
  • Heath Shirt
  • Bark Mail
  • Bone Mail
  • Turtle Shell
  • Bone Plate
  • Shield, Turtle Shell, Light
  • Shield, Turtle Shell, Heavy

Have you come across other Blackmoor equipment? Your own creations are also welcome in this thread! Smile

Wow, I am amazed at how much cool stuff you have up on your blog. I was trying to think of ways to introduce these items in a classic era campaign. Perhaps they could also be used to simulate Tech Gear from the City of the Gods/Temple of the Frog?

*Lol*

Yeah me too.

Actually the main reason I havent been using them more is due to lack of a unified list.

Okay, I will let you in on where I am going with all of this:

I plan on making a Blackmoor Equipment Guide PDF booklet. It will include all the official items with prices and book/page references. It could also include fan created items, so if you guys have more ideas we could have them all in the booklet (if you want).

Feel free to share ideas! Smile
