[ZGG Repost] Idolator and Spells Known? - Havard - 11-24-2009 Tervola: Do they get the chance to 'lose' and replace spells like sorcerers and bards can? ******************* Christopher.Reed: No. First, it is not specifically listed within the text of the Player's Guide to Blackmoor of the new base class. Secondly, the "unseen forces" would be most unhappy about being so easily discarded. So you'll need to select your spells carefully from the beginning. Is there one either in the works or already released for PCGen? That would be a terribly useful tool, in my book. Zandari ********************* bgilkison: PCGen: http://www.codemonkeypublishing.com/xca ... hp?cat=401 e-Tools: http://www.codemonkeypublishing.com/xca ... hp?cat=399 I have the e-Tools set, and it works great, although I have had to tweak a few things here and there (for example, the dataset had spidersilk armor granting a +5 to Hide and Move Silent instead of a +4). ******************** lkj: Have you reported the bugs on the codemonkey boards? They're usually pretty good about fixing them in the next updates. (though it can take a couple months) AD ******************** bgilkison: I just reported it in the E-Tools Data Bug Reports (Zeitgeist Games) forum. I only noticed it when I returned home from GenCon and was updating my PC (who gained access to some padded spidersilk in one of the mods I played this weekend Smile ). ON the plus side, it's at least an easy one to fix on your own... According to Code Monkey Byngl over on the e-Tools forums, +5 is correct, there having been errata introduced via the softcover campaign guide. For those of us who already have the hardcover, when/where can we get an errata file to update our hardcovers? *************** -Havard |
