I wonder if we could link them to that bird-race from the Creature Catalog. I forget their name. Re: Avian Spaceship - Havard - 06-01-2011 hunterfairbanks Wrote:Is the race you are thinking of Aarakocra? AD&D has the Aarakocra. Classic D&D has another bird-like race, the Gyerians, which are a little silly, but flightless, which is why I thought of them. Also there is the Faenare in Classic D&D, who are a kind of "good Harpies". In the Wilderlands, there are several birdlike humanoids, including the Hawkmen and the Nguak (Duckfolk). In the kind of Blackmoor campaign I run, where I integrate both Mystara and the Wilderlands, I am thinking all of these races could be descendants of Scott Belfry's Avian Civilization. -Havard Re: Avian Spaceship - DungeonDevil - 06-05-2011 Faenare? Got a book name and page number? Bird-folk would make for some great aerial battles vs. tarnsmen. 8) Re: Avian Spaceship - Havard - 06-05-2011 DungeonDevil Wrote:Faenare?
