It just occurs to me that we are now seeing a series of new products appearing on the market which pay direct tribute to Blackmoor in one way or another.

The first one is .

The second is

The third is the .

Can we speak of Clones, or is that too strong (and perhaps loaded) a word for these settings? Granted the Black Marshes is the only one actually on the market yet, so with the others it is hard to say how major the Blackmoorian influence is.

In any case, it is pretty interesting to see that Blackmoor retains such a strong impact on the hobby that it manages to sneak its way into new games like this :)

Any thoughts?

I've been considering rebooting my campaign by modelling it on (at least partially) the text and map from FFC. I might call it either Moindub or Schwarzheide. :D

Moindub - is that irish?

You might have a look at my SWA campaign notes (age of Id) for some ideas for an FFC campaign.

Lived in Dublin for a short while and I remember that it meant Black (Dubv) pool (lin).

Campaign notes are on the forum but back a page, here - http://blackmoor.mystara.us/forums/view ... =5476#5476
