I have to say thanks to Mr. Dave Brained as my players do clearly appreciate Innuendo above other episodes and, based on the positive feedback from previous players, more and more people is asking me to re-run this adventure.
As it is basically an investigation with (if you are careful) about zero fights, it can be run as a solo game.
What the players say they are appreciating above all is the atmosphere of this episode (the fog on the docks, the people that you meet all around, their behaviours changing in time... all nicely described), the huge freedom to roam all around town, bumping on various other plots as you go (and you may or may not take interest on them), and the overall narrative climax, that nurtures a growing sense of tension and urgency.
Just reading the title and the blurb may not make this adventure stand out and make justice of the well crafted plot and descriptions.
