Difficult to know for certain since FFC was published in 1977 and Edritch was published in 1976, but I think those rumor tables date from 2 or 3 years before EW (1973-75). Meaning it probably wasn't the same throne as in EW. Mabey the idea for them was something somewhat similar to the Throne of Growth on level 6 of BM dungeon, only they were located in other dungeons, or maybe it was some reference to the egg of coot, since that was the last thing on the list above them and the egg does have a throne room. <shrug>
