To answer your question, Zeitgeist Games material in general is not a conversion of other material, but it is mostly new stuff (apart from the main settings books, we are talking of almost one hundred one-off adventures). How much of that is a genuine insight or expansion of Dave Arneson's true ideas for Blackmoor is a topic for high level scholars as he directly authored only small part of that material, but, as far as I understood, Dave Arneson supervised quite strictly the early productions and then less and less, depending on his health, unfortunately. :(
Said that, I am running a campaign based on Zeitgeist Games MMRPG (all short adventures, sometimes connected in longer story arcs), adding DA stuff piecemeal, just to have longer adventures every now and then, and so far my players and I are having great fun. I hope you will have great fun too. 8)
