This time my group had an large meat-lover's pizza with the pepperoni out and that meat they use for philly-cheesesteak in.

Games are on Tuesdays sometime around 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

++++ START OF SESSION ++++

It was noted that after the returning refugee trip the boat picked up Honda at Catan (formerly Temple of the Frog) and she left in charge one of her minions who took on the name of B'harnee Phife, since she was the Sheriff (a.k.a. Steward, under the Samurai Stewardship rule serving occidental superiors in exile. The Duchy of Ten is still in post-occupation turmoil.). As appointee [and wife, (nepotism is alive and well in this milieu)] of Baron Huang, she had to leave someone to take care of the town.

It was noted that unless the player for Weasel showed up again, he and his followers would be left behind again back at BlackMoor.

Enroute to vanquish the Temple of Existential Evil, the party sailed through Lake Hope and Southlake past Newgate. They had only two encounters along the way, a bemused Giant Otter that swam away in Southlake. Then while roading off Newgate they met an oh-so friendly ship of Samaritans who noticed Huang's Monk followers on deck were barefoot and only wearing loincloths, including the two females. The Samaritans offered them decent shirts and breeches, and sarongs for the females and sandals, given it was already early December. They refused shoes, since they were Monks.

They made landfall where the road meets the water off that little unnamed island south of Newgate. I had them find a small village of Dwarfs and a pier (since the end of the road was also unmarked). The village served as a waypoint and offloading area for ore shipments from the Regent of the Mines.

While there they picked up some news in that another party of adventurers who were chasing a band of eight-legged monstrosities sporting human heads. Apparently the monsters had something the other adventurers were looking for.

Taking their leave of the Dwarfs. They party traveled up the road to the Regency finding a recent battlefield midway with a pile of burnt aforesaid eight-legged monstrosities. They also found an abandoned war horse standing next to a recent grave. They tried to catch the horse but it ran off.

Continuing on the party spent the night at the Regent of the Mines hearing recent news of banditry in their Eastern foothills which was conveniently blamed on the Temple they were headed for. Without further ado, they left the next day.

While coming down the hill, they were ambushed by a group of about two dozen Troglodytes. Most the party made their saving throws because of the smell and the battle was incomplete at the end of the session that we should pick up tonight.

Also the Player for Snizzlephish made a cameo appearance near the end of the session. He expressed surprise we were on Tuesday nights but apologized as he still works weekday nights, (he is a bartender for a few clubs in the area). I had placed Snizzlephish on the retired list as a Gnome 6th level Illusionist and 2nd level Thief. Someday he may return.
