Oh hey, I've been doing some Vales posting that I forgot to stop in and say hi.

My name's Brian, but a couple of you might know me from The Piazza as Boddynock. I'm sure Chimpman remembers from my Fiori City States articles I posted on Piazza's unfortunately defunct Edge campaign. Besides that I know Havard from Facebook and I run a blog called the Gnomish Embassy which mentioned Blackmoor once or twice.

My personal gaming history actually began with White Wolf games, namely Vampire: the Masquerade and Mage: The Ascension. Then after awhile I went from the modern games to D&D. I'm still learning about Blackmoor but I'm very excited to joining both the Vales campaign and you on this great website.

Just a hello.

Some will know who I am others not so much.
(Goes without saying)

I have been gaming since the 1970's easily. Started insanely young. It is what helped me get through school without falling asleep.

Also happen to be the webmaster to and friend with Dave Arneson. I have worked a bit with John Kentner, but John's body of work is wholly his own. For almost 12 years or more now I have been bugging Dave to revamp his site. I spoke to him last in February. When he passed away in April I was shocked to be honest.

It has not been until now I have had to take the stack of stuff Dave left me to put on the web and get it organized. Lots of time has passed. Life gets in the way at times, and I apologize why the page vanished. (A goof honestly, updated my own site, and well.... yeah... ) Once it was clear it was missing I was determined to update it.

I have left the archive of the old site further link down. (Annoying midi and missing graphics complete. )

A big fan of Role-playing games, I much like Dave rarely got to play in my own creations and game settings. Everyone wants me as a GM....

Anyway I hope to add and contribute to questions and answers where I can. If I do not know I usually can find out fast.

If there are suggested links or information I should look at I often am open to reviewing them also. :D

Hi,

I've been lurking for a while. Didn't have anything to say, mostly reading and learning. I'm always looking for new and fresh ideas, and initially I knew nothing of Blackmoor.

About me: I started playing AD&D in January 1983, and DMing in May that same year. Played heavily until 1991 -- got married, moved away, packed up my stuff to never use again.

Well ... not quite "never". In 2005 I pulled my box out of the attic and showed my sons, then ages 7 and 8. Suddenly I was DMing again!
