This time we had a Sausage pizza.

Games are on Tuesdays sometime around 5:30PM at World's Best Comics, 9714 Warwick Blvd Newport News, Virginia 23601.

PART 1.

++++ START OF SESSION ++++

After a "rest period" in the hellish hotel in the City of Dis the party checked out an meandered for a time on the city streets.

Only three things of note occurred and only the last requires any explanation:

1) The party was nearly surrounded by a work crew of the damned, who started tearing up the street on their schedule. The party simply avoided the encounter by backing away.

2) The party was followed by a group of scholars taking notes on clipboards. Huang went to investigate but found nothing amiss in their actions. (They were apparently post-graduates working on their Thesis at the direction of their tenured Professor.)

3) Lastly they stumbed into the city's open market and went promptly to the well advertisted "Information Booth". Were they were greeted by the King of the Market, a Capo-de-Tutti-Capi and his Goombas.

(Compared to the Chaotic Evil Abyss, Hell is Lawful Evil. Therefore crime while still unlawful, tends to be well-organized and works within the rules as long as the authorities are bribed properly.)

In effect the party purchased a "Business License" from the Don. Otherwise the party would not be able to conduct business. They were originally charged a 500 gold piece fee and the Mafia gets 60 percent of the take. They were able to negotiate the fee to 6000 gold up front and no cut. After the deal was cut they were promptly given their license and a open market "booth kit", consisting of a folding hide tent and a folding table.

(Legally Capo's "business license" is a worthless piece of paper save that the Devils that live in the city "respect" the Capo's scheme. Any non-devils conducting business in the city are simply shunned without the Mob Boss' license. It is essentially self-policing so few 'enforcers' are necessary.)

The party's "business plan" consisted of performing "inventories" for their clients who wanted to keep track of their prized possessions. Ostensibly this is supposed to be the party's trick to be able to gain entry into the central tower. A board was elected consisting of a CEO, a Treasurer, and a Secretary. The remaining party members were board members at large.

The party set up their tent and waited for customers.
