Will keep the summary short, as all the play was conceptual, few die rolls and no Character statistics.

SUMMARY


We had a large sausage and extra cheese pizza. Discovered after moving to Wednesdays, pizza is two dollars off, that is a savings of 104 dollars a year.


After the female Drow departed, the Party (Junkbot, Fundisha, Tak & Numrendir) engaged in conversation with the Captain Basmar, joined by his sailors Wilfong, Philmar, & Oscar (a Midget). A deal was struck regarding crewing Huang & Honda's ships one of which had been confiscated by the Barbarians. Although I don't know how Huang & Honda will feel about the deal, since they were not present. They may feel Junkbot and Numrendir may be blind-siding them. Early in negotiations, Fundisha decided to retire to her room.


Later a crowd in came for drinks after the evening show at the theater across the street. Of notable personages, were Blackmoor Castle's Captain of the Guard at the bar, Seated at a table were Bosero the Drunkard, Elefus, Gerry, and Special_Ed. Since Elefus was now officially divorced, he could be seen with Gerry, but this was just a social event.


Numrendir decided to buy drinks for everyone at Elefus' table. Ale for Elefus, Bosero and Ed, sake for Gerry. Shortly thereafter Gerry (failed a Poison Save) and collapsed on the table, dead. (Oh no, not again.) So Elefus performed a Raise Dead on Gerry. Luckily enough Gerry passed her 2nd poison save because Elefus didn't have a Neutralize Poison spell. Elefus, Gerry, Bosero and Ed retreated over to the Come Back Inn across the street. Leaving the Party to figure out who dropped the poison. Since the room was crowded no one could be sure. The barmaid and bartender were trusted employees and had been working there for years and this had never happened before. The only anomalies of reference were the Captain of the Guard moved from the Bar to a table and the Midget sailor stepped out a moment. Since the bar was crowded and moving about could have slipped something into Gerry's sake while the bartender was pouring the other three ales.


Seeing how the evening had turned sour (although the victim was raised) the constabulary was not called, so the rest of the patrons slipped out a few at a time. (Captain of the Guard being military and not police, left also.)


Thereafter Junkbot decided to join his wife Fundisha while Numrendir and Tak went across to the Come Back Inn to speak to Elefus, but by the time they got across the street, they heard a blood-curdling scream from whence they came. Junkbot came running shouting "Get Elefus", Fundisha is dead!"


And there she was, stabbed in bed with a poison dagger.


Seeing as I ruled it just after midnight, Elefus had just refreshed his spells and was able to perform yet another Raise Dead. Seeing as he did not have a Neutralize Poison previously, he was mindful enough to change it for his next spell batch so he was able prevent a 2nd Poison Save. (And since Fundisha was several months pregnant, this solved any number of role-playing issues.)


Lastly Numrendir asked the Innkeeper about the note Sticky_Fingers had passed to the him 6 months before. To which the Innkeeper replied, "Oh, I just pass mail along. An unknown female halfling picked it up."



(The question was asked, can people tell the difference between Midgets and Halflings in this campaign? To which I answered yes.)
