I think that the structure of the campaign (that is in general the same of the MMRPG, with many one-off adventures that may happen at the same time and impact the game world progressively more and more, as the characters become more influential) is what is working particularly well: as the adventures typically take a month or so to be run, you can switch companions and mix and match connected adventures with non connected adventures, mixing in sometimes a solo adventure, some other times an adventure with more characters forming a numerous group. This way you try always new combinations.

Then, I have to say that in general I found very good (and intelligent) players, able to tune themselves up to the way things are run, with more focus on action and on keeping the story flowing, and when they play they are never really kicking themselves forward, as the adventures are short and snappy and if at any time they want to take some time off, that's not a big issue.

WRT the adventures, overall, the sagas of the Redwood Scar and of Hadeen seem to be well appreciated and, WRT adventures for solos, Innuendo so far is considered number one, followed by Losing Focus: both can be dealt with by a single player doing a good investigation in an almost sandbox environment with evolutions linked not only to where you are, but also to when you reach that place and with very broad and in depth NPCs characterisation.
Personally, I also appreciated the way other adventures written for other settings can blend in Blackmoor with relatively small adaptations.

The adventure Trouble for the Noble Hearts is now over and it was played as a solo game for the same character that previously completed Losing Focus. Eventually, he couldn't find the solution to the mystery and stepped on the wrong toes, which had the investigation removed from his hands.

In game dates: 10-19 Yovenouom 1031

The adventure Tales from the Old Land is now over and it was played by a mixed group with slightly different levels of experience. See the transcript here: viewtopic.php?f=76&t=9269
I think that overall it was pretty good!

In game dates: 10-19 Yovenouom 1031

The adventure Things to Come is now over. The characters that entered it are quite expert and all of them either participated to adventures from the saga of the Hand of Henrin or to the saga of the Bow of Hadeen. One of them already participated to the fights against the Afridhi as well...
However, the characters didn't understand much of what was going on and they didn't plan their actions very well, so eventually they barely survived and didn't manage to get the sacred arrow of Hadeen (happens - it isn't a disaster for the storyline, it is more a missing reward for them).
My problem now is that the saga of the Hand of Henrin is one of the few storylines that were left incomplete when the MMRPG stopped

In game dates: 10-19 Yovenouom 1031

We just passed the 6,000 posts milestone and, at the same time, we are in the top 100 of RPoL active, fantasy games.
Absolutely unplanned and unexpected.

The adventure You Shall Know Them by Their Deeds, that is the third episode of the Saga of Hadeen, was played for over a month, but the action was too slow, with players waiting for somebody else to take action, so I called time and stopped it. Let's pretend that nothing happened.
Sometimes these things do happen, when the group chemistry doesn't develop.

In game dates: 20-29 Yovenouom 1031

Today we reached the 7,000th post milestone!
Actually, during last couple of months the progress was very slow, as I have some personal issue slowing everything down, but in Winter the campaign moved forward very swiftly with very good roleplaying.
Right now, there are 21 adventures completed and 7 ongoing, mostly taken from the MMRPG.
