Interesting article by Peterson about a Tournament ran by Dave Arneson with the help of others from the Blackmoor bunch at Origins 1977.

Organizing an event for more than 200 people over 16 D&D sessions is a pretty impressive feat.

The quest (or one of them?) was about locating a tome and destroying it.

I wonder if this was a Blackmoor adventure? Does more of it exist than the pregen characters?
