Some old notes I found:

1030 – Campaign Begins
1060 – Blackmoor has become the most powerful Kindom on the Continent
1100 - The Empire of Thonia is falling apart. Blackmoor movies in to fill the power vacuum.
1200 - Blackmoor is in the early Renaissance.
1299 – Age of the Wolf. City of Blackmoor is laid in ruins for the last time. Huge demonic War Machines ravage the land for two decades, before Blackmoor is rebuilt and regains its former strength.
1330 - Former Afridhi Empire annexed into the Kingdom of Blackmoor.
1390 - Thonian Empire revitalized, but forced to recognize the King of Blackmoor as the “Holy Thonian Emperor”. (Treaty of Dragonia)
1410 - By this time, Blackmoor explorers have mapped most of the world, including the continent of Brun in the far west and Davania to the south. Contact made with the Elven Empire on the Southern Continent (3600)
1490 - Declaration of Purity: Patriarch of the Thonian High Church begins a Great Crusade against Goblin Races. Beginning of Blackmoorian Colonian Era.
1500 - Colonization of the continent of Brun begins wholesale, mainly with the territories known as New Thonia.
1520-1560 - First Beastman Crusades.Time of the First Dragonlord.
1580 - Peace Treaty between Blackmoor and the Dragons.
1590 - Trade agreements with the Serpentmen Realms of the Southern Continent established. Slaves, drugs etc enter the Thonian market.
1630-1670 - The Thonian Wars. Thonian cities rebel against their Blackmoorian Overlords. Blackmoor forces are strengthened by Elven, Dwarven and Skandaharian mercenaries. Relics from the Valley of the Ancients once again brought out bringing amazing new technological development.
1738 - Blackmoor dominance reestablished. Thonian Republic born under the grace of Under Andahar VII, “The Red”. Rumours spread that Uther VII was the reborn Uther I.
1800 - Blackmoor reaches late 19th C technology. Blackmoor launches a Last Crusade against the Serpentmen Realms on the Southern continent destroying them utterly.
1900 - Blackmoor reaches late 20th Century RW technology level. Researchers invent Time Machine, which they place on the location of the Comeback Inn.
2030 - The Great Rain of Fire. The World as we know it is destroyed as a result of the unstable combination of magic and technology. From the ashes a New World rises. In this world, Blackmoor is a legend to inspire new generations to greatness.

Ideas based on work by James Mishler, Cthulhudrew, Thorarinn Gunnarson and Mystara & Blackmoor canon.

The crusade element is from Mystara, right?

Because that would perhaps be something to develop further for our own stuff.

Like, I can see that in the future of the LFC as well... :)

i think the notion of Beastman crusades came about around the Hollow World set, didn't it?

Either that, or possibly Orcs of Thar.

I believe it was James Mishler's expansion that made the connection to the Dragonlord Chronicles.

I prefer working within the framework of previously published and fan produced material if possible so that things are useful to a larger group of readers. :)
