I'd go for the extravagant stuff... enigmas and the like (of course the option of being squashed should be always around, but you should be clever to overcome it, rather than being lucky with a saving throw...)

The traditional Magic Mouth seems quite fitting here. :)

Perhaps also all kinds of carved out traps etc. Anything that the Hermit could have done himself would work for this dungeon...
