Wrote some more stuff on the . There I used Greg's version of the origins of the Blue Rider, although as mentioned above, the FFC talks about two possible stories about how the Blue Rider got his armor.

Personally I like the idea of the demented old wizard giving the armor to someone else who then ended up killed in the Blackmoor dungeon where William of the Heath found it. Interesting to note that the FFC mentions specifically the 12th level of the Blackmoor Dungeon as the location of the armor & warhorse; Dave had always planned for more than the 10 levels presented in that book then.
