Ok So last night was our first full session in Blackmoor. For the curious I'm using OD&D via The Delving Deeper System. So I have both the ZGG version and the FFC version. I was using the ZGG version to start with and the FFC maps as the maps are identical. So one thing I noticed, as I did zero prep before the game is map numbering and text numbering don't match.. at all.

In the ZGG you have area's labeled as 1-1, 1-2,1-3, etc.. while the map has numbers 1-9 and the descriptions don't match the numbers. I was hoping to mix and match the two supplements together as well as come up with on the fly since my game is more sandbox than plot driven, which is the reason I had done little prep. I gave my players some info and rumors and surprisingly they decided on the castle dungeons. They aren't normally big on dungeon crawls.

So after that long winded post my question is has anyone here run the ZGG version? if so how did you reconcile the room descriptions with the map or did I just miss something in the ZGG version.

There was an addendum to replace the first level map to match the text. I printed it and stuck it into the right place in my book, so I don't have a digital copy. I don't know for sure where you can download the addendum from. Isn't the ZGG site down?
