Anyone else here hooked on Skyrim? I know Rafe used to play it.

I found a really cool music video/tribute to the game here, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwJc-Akn ... re=related

Oh, yeah, I love Skyrim, and the whole "The Elder Scrolls" series.
Played all the big titles (there are also minor ones, like Reguard, or Battlespire), and enjoyed them greatly.

While the production values, graphics and soundtrack, of this game are certainly awesome,
I have to say, I found the game rather disappointing during extended play, because of three rather minor design flaws.

1. The NPCs, even the core groups, don't react dynamically to your advancement.
Means, even if you are the master of the Thieves Guild, the doorman there will still talk down to you as if you were a total noob.

2. On the long run, there are quest-related bugs, like for example,
when you complete the Dark Brotherhood story arc (in itself alone reason enough to buy the game),
you cannot complete the Empire story arc any more. etc.

Both of these issues would have been easy to fix, yet people didn't. Not cool.

Overall, though, the game is an incredibly intriguing enterprise, because of its simple cinematic value, and the depth of their gaming world.
The dwarven dungeons in the game - especially the ones you find during the Thieves Guild storyline - are among the best video game experiences I have ever had, and the fact that non-good aligned characters are slightly favored by the game's storyline was a welcome variation from other stuff where you're stuck to the usual video-game white-knighting.

Buy this one, guys. Awesome experience.

*gaaah*

I have now reached a point where the game simply shuts down because I have accumulated so much loot or whatever. Apparently this is a glitch that exists in the console versions. Perhaps the PC version has fixed it, I dont know. Still pretty annoying... :(
