Hello!

I have sporadically been playing RPGs, usually D&D, for decades. My current schedule doesn’t allow me to game these days, but I like to read settings and adventures in my free time for inspiration and ideas for when I do get a chance to play/DM.

I discovered this site in my search for finding info on The Blackmoor setting. Does anyone have a recommendation for a person who wants to learn more about the setting? Perhaps something that I can purchase at DriveThruRPG? There seems to be an overwhelming amount of info on this setting and I am looking for a good place to start.

Hello, my name if Matthew, but you can call me Ebon Hearted Soul & I am from Hillsboro, Oregon. I've been a fan of Dave Arneson's Blackmoor for years ever since I bought his 3.5 version of the campaign setting; though I've grown to enjoy the humorous feel of the Judge's Guild FFC; the 3.5 BM setting is still my favorite version. I have also grown to be a fan of OD&D, B/X D&D and their respective clones; which are now my default rules to run games in. I am hoping to have many wonderful conversations here about Blackmoor in the years to come. I have a blog that I'll be posting on for a potential OD&D based setting mash up that will include Blackmoor in the near future.
