Hi Chirine,
I just came across Jeff Dee's Tékumel Gallery. Do you know anything about the upcoming Béthorm RPG set in Tékumel, which this art is apparently made for?

Jeff Dee did a number of illustrations for the Dragon and TSR back in the day, and went on to do a number of RPGs for companies like FGU. His "Bethorm" RPG set in Tekumel has been "in development" for at least a year, but aside from a game or two at North Texas RPG run by the author, I think that the artwork we've been seeing is about all that's been available. I'd think that the game will be a very 'old school' style RPG, and be like his previous games; very light on rules mechanics and very heavy on artwork. He has a good feel for RPGs, as his titles are still played, and we'll see what we get when the game is published.

Hello!

Just a quick update - I am doing well, and my blood pressure has been 'human normal' for the past ninety days. Not bad, considering!

Hey Chirine!

That is very good news! Thanks for checking in on us! Smile

Got any more stories about Dave or Phil or gaming back in Minnesota in the 70s for us? Smile

- Have you considered putting this on youtube, Jeff?

It would make it easier to embed the videos in HTML-based texts. Smile

Not to sound like I'm not happy with the idea - I am! - but how do I do that? I'm not very web-literate, or computer savvy; I thought that it was a very big deal when we switched from the 80 bit large format punchcards to the half-size 160 bit punch cards on the IBM 370 series machine that I had access to, back in the day...

I do have a You-tube account through Google, as part of my blog; I'll see what I can do... Big Grin
